2027 Arctic Wolf 273RL

The 2027 Forest River Cherokee Arctic Wolf 273RL fifth wheel puts a sofa across the back wall and a queen bed up front. Couch’s RV Nation takes factory orders for this floorplan. A freestanding kitchen island anchors the middle, and two slide-outs open up the room.

This floorplan is designed around a couple. There is one bedroom, no bunks and a living room across the back, with the sofa on the rear wall. People who ask whether a rear living layout is good for two people usually want quiet. The 273RL keeps the lounge at the far end from the bed. It works as an empty-nester getaway for a long weekend or a month in the sun. For shoppers comparing a couples coach fifth wheel, the single queen bedroom keeps the plan simple.

Sleeping happens in the raised nose. A 60 x 80 queen bed sits under overhead cabinets there, and a corner wardrobe keeps clothes close. Laundry is covered too, since the wardrobe just aft of the bed has washer and dryer prep. Between the bedroom and the living room, the roadside bath holds a shower, a porcelain toilet and a vanity sink.

On the living-room side of the bath wall, a hutch with overhead cabinets and a pantry sit at the front end of the kitchen. The roadside slide carries the galley: a 12V refrigerator, a range with a microwave above and a hidden pantry at its rear end. Facing it, the island stands with clear floor on every side. It holds the sink and a trash can, so cleanup stays in one spot.

Across the aisle, the curb slide holds a free-standing table with chairs and a set of theater seating. The table moves where you need it, which is handy for puzzles, laptops or a sit-down dinner. Theater seating faces an entertainment center and fireplace set at an angle in the rear roadside corner.

The sofa runs across the back wall beneath more overhead cabinets. With the queen bed and that sofa, the plan sleeps 4, so a visiting friend or grandchild has a place to stay. The theater seating and the table are for daytime, not sleeping.

For 2027, Arctic Wolf adds Mocha decor, dimmable puck LEDs and a backlit ceiling feature with pendants over the island. The 2027 build adds 200W solar with a 40A controller, useful when you camp without hookups. Inverter prep runs to the GFI outlets, and keyless entry door prep is part of the update. Laundry prep, a hidden pantry and a second pantry make this a plan built for extended stays.

Is the 273RL a good 5th wheel for a retired couple? For most couples, yes. It has a real queen bedroom, a kitchen with an island and a living room at the back with no bunks to work around. Every room is sized for the two people who travel in it.
