Clipper Trail Edition

The Coachmen Clipper Trail Edition is a compact travel trailer line for couples and small families buying their first rig. Every Clipper Trail Edition model rides on a single axle and builds on a 90-inch body. The seven floorplans run from the 12-series to the 17-series, and none of them needs a slide.

The shorter 12-series suits couples and weekend campers. The 12RD pairs a 54x74 bed at the front with a curb-side dinette and a rear bath. The 12RKX moves the kitchen to the rear wall and puts the dinette along the roadside. The 12BH adds a set of rear bunks for the kids. The 12REX tucks a fold-up bunk over the dinette and uses a rear entry door.

If you want a queen bed, look at the 17-series. The 17RD has a rear U-shaped dinette. The 17FQ has wardrobes on both sides of the front queen bed and a dinette on the curb side. The 17BH is the family pick, with rear bunk beds for a growing crew.

The Camping Made Easy package covers the everyday essentials. It includes a power awning with LED lighting, a black tank flush, backup camera prep, USB charging ports and cable TV hookup. The Quality and Appliance package adds a tankless on-demand water heater, a stainless microwave, a one-piece TPO roof membrane, tongue-and-groove flooring and screwed cabinetry.

Couch’s RV Nation keeps the first purchase simple, with a quick online pre-approval and delivery anywhere in the lower 48. It is a shopping experience built around you, not the sale.
