Got to my daughters on Wed about
6pm…..rained the last hour….a little tricky on the interstate going
60-65 in the rain and wind and dark with lots of traffic, but made it
ok.
Lost one of the back bumper rubbers on the way(the rubber
that goes in the end to hold the sewer hose), where can I get another of
those?
Told my wife about the trailer….she is reserving judgement until she sees it…..
Gas mileage was good when traveling 55 and towed just fine.
Slept in it on Wed night at my daughters.
On
Thursday when I went to put the stabilizer jacks down, they did not
run…..need to read the manual….may have been wet. The manual override
worked just fine.

I just wanted to send a
quick thank you. The R.Pod was delivered on time and as specified on
Friday. I had all the necessary paperwork in hand to make the import
process very straight-forward. The delivery driver was very helpful as
well. When it became apparent that I did not have the right trailer
lights connector on my tow vehicle they stayed to make sure I acquired
what I needed to get on the road. This was definitely above
expectations, particularly when I knew they wanted to get back for the
July 4th holiday weekend. They also did me the courtesy of checking in
later Friday night to make sure I had made it back home safely. I
would highly recommend them for any upcoming deliveries.

Just thought I'd send you a note to say I
got the trailer from the guys last night and made it home without a
problem. It's actually been inspected by RIV etc already as well.
I'd
especially like to give the thumbs up to the drivers who delivered the
trailer to Calais. They were some of the most considerate people I've
ever met, and great to deal with. They called me a few times along the
way to give me updates, and showed up almost to the minute. Everything
was in order with the papers and trailer. The young guy even called me
later on last night just to check on us and make sure we had made it
home ok. AWESOME people!!! Please let them know we appreciated the way
they treated us.

Figured I'd drop you a
quick email and say thanks. I enjoyed my trip out there to pickup our
new R-Pod, and I don't think it's possible for the fellow that helped me
with the walk through to be more helpful. We went through EVERYTHING,
including removing panels to see what was hidden behind them. He helped
me do a partial setup of the R-Dome to make sure there were no problems
with the tracks, helped me play around with loading the propane system,
you name it. Very pleased with the service I got there picking the
camper up. When I got back my parents liked the camper enough, and were
happy enough with my tales of my experience there, that they are now
seriously considering the purchase of a 177. I'll be sure to send them
your way when they are ready to take the leap, which I'd guess will be
sometime before the end of summer.

We are home. Got in about 6 p.m. yesterday.
I
thought of a question while on the road. Does the unit have an onboard
jack and lug nut wrench? If so where would it most likely be located?
I know we have all sorts of roadside protection and I would not
hesitate to use it instead of endangering me or the fifth wheel. It
was one of those questions that ran through my mind when we were down
the road a bit.

Hey Brannon, we're doing good! Yep, our
camper made it here safe and sound! I've been getting it ready for the
weekend. We absolutely love it! It has all the room we need with a
little one now! Thank you for all of your help. You and David were
both great to work with. No matter how busy you guys may be, you always

Hi Brannon; Just wanted to let you know we
arrived home around 1.30 p.m. Trailer pulled great. Hardly knew it
was behind us. Blew another fuze in the dash and after I replaced it
everything worked fine. Thanks for all of your help. Love the trailer.
